Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of get a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's best-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It makes use of AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

The design is also better than the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties, which is great to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it across the floor. It even could capture sand and small gravel which other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.

robot vacuum sale  is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in getting rid of dust bunnies which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place, emptying the bin can be accomplished with relative ease. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are some of the most advanced available - but it's also pricey.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The primary selling point of the station is that it automates many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do very well at collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

But if you want to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models priced substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper, but offers more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be placed near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The main characteristic that sets the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to draw an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it will automatically return to its starting point and begins cleaning where it started.

The elegant G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
